I'm impressed that the tires held up. I've had the brushed version since release. Held off on going brushless for couple reasons. One being that there were a lot of videos with tires exploding on 3s. Looks like they changed something in the tires.

Just bought my 4-Tec 2.0 VXL kit! Waiting for my black Mustang body to come and then I'm offfff!!!! Going to stick to stock gearing now as I'll probably need to learn to control the thing really well before I try the faster optional gearing. Thanks for this awesome video!

I'm excited about the newer vxl style tires, the ones that come on the brushed won't hold up for me once I pass 45mph, I'm running a 3800 kV 36-60 brush less motor, on 2s I hit 45-50 no problem, but on 3s its unusable I actually had a tire completely explode into pieces. So I'm super excited to try there newer style tires ,for the people claiming it won't hit 70mph with stock system your either a hater or delusional. A rusty will hit 70mph if you can keep it planted. This will do it no problem, the issues are the tires not the power system ,its light weight made very durable. Its a tank I've flipped mine going over 45mph and did zero damage.. Great job traxxas 👍
