What is the fastest freight train you have even seen?

Probably one of these, 70 is the limit through most of the US so one of those 72 mph trains I would guess.

I’m new to your channel what state are you in filming these fast intermodal trains, and do UP & BNSF share tracks or are you filming each of them in different locations? thanks

Welcome, most were/are filmed throughout the west (AZ, NM, CO, WY, NE), and most of these tracks are individually owned by one company or the other. There are a few lines they share but none I am near have Z traffic due mainly to different company dispatching.
