Another great one! I noticed when you wicked off solder from one of the fusible resistor legs, there briefly is another component leg visible that didn’t appear to get resoldered (@ around 13:30), but I am sure you caught that off camera. 😎 Happy New Year & thanks for all the awesome educational content this year. @@ToltecMerc Good eye really, I have seen this at some other youtubers, actually viewers see the footage and tell where was mistake. One more reason NOT to use fast forward or NOT to delete footage. (We have keyboard arrows if we want to skip something, you make footage as real as possible, even if its 4hrs... take your time)

My issue is that the adp-200er gives 4.8v and also 4.7v on the 4th pin (ac_in) but as soon as I short pin 3 (ac_stby) and 4, 12V comes up and goes off and within a second, the 9.1v zener, the 0.16ohm resistor and the 5v mosfet blows. What could the problem be? The power supply stays on in standby for a long time without any issue. I already replaced dap041 (with ld5760) and dda001ag ic.

Perhaps the power factor corrector is putting out too much voltage. It should be 395V across the big caps when 12V is enabled.

Dear sir, hope you will be doing great, I need little assistance regarding an issue I’m having with my ps4 power supply ADP 200er, I’m not getting voltage at stand by the fusible resistor is open although replaced but still it gets off, their is some component shot but I can’t find it the mosfet 3n62k on meter says short when it is on the supply board but when I disconnect it it doesn’t show sighs of short please help me out.

If your zener is good, you should measure 1.0 ohm across the zener. Not 0.0 ohms. If the zener has shorted, your MOSFET may have shorted or the DAP041 IC has failed.
