Having recently rewatched The Founder with Michael Keaton as Ray Kroc, that McDonald’s commercial stands out.

I’m screaming at the commercial for Gilda Radner live. 💚💚💚💚

Me too! I would have loved to see her live, but I was a mere infant when her Broadway show came out 😅 I do have the soundtrack recording on vinyl and CD.

Ultra Brite Toothpaste- Nice stop motion animation of the tube of toothpaste rolling itself up at the end of this commercial. Clairol Son Of A Gun Hair Dryer- The look of the scene that they’re filming in the beginning of this commercial reminds me of “The Wizard Of Oz”, especially of the beginning of that movie, before the tornado hit.

Charlene Tilton from "Dallas" in the hair dryer commercial. Ironic that this commercial was shown during SNL, as she was the host of the famous Charles Rocket /F-word episode a season or two later.

EEEEK IT'S A NERD! Looks like those Gap people are going to need to be re-trained! But if Mr. Kroc was alive today he'd see that McDonald's is in fact, NOT a savings for the family budget anymore!

Pepsi-looked like a game of "frisbee football" Clairol Son Of A Gun Hairdryer-that is one exasperated director 🤣 More American Graffiti-shouldve just left it at the original Rocky II-R.I.P Carl Weathers,Burt Young,Burgess Meredith and Tony Burton North Dallas Forty-looks like "the weird part" was the plot of the whole movie 😄 Bonjour Jeans-ad could be the trailer for a tv show with a globe-trotting action duo

A film of Gilda Live was released to theaters in the early 80s. Worth seeking out.

George Lucas said that making a sequel to American Graffiti was one of the biggest mistakes he ever made

Lucas executive produced the movie, but it was neither written or directed by him.
