Great jingle for Miller High Life. Love the sound effects for the Nikon EM ad. Heck, I also love the ending music for Battle of the Network Stars.

The White haired carny in the Pepsi commercial is Bill Erwin , a great character actor, was in Seinfeld ep The Old man (1993) .. in Planes Trains and Automobiles (1987) as an old man coughing in his sleep into Nathan Pages' (Steve Martin) face. Died Dec 29 2010.. RIP

He also played the old man at the airport in Home Alone who is trying to talk his wife out of exchanging their plane tickets. "She's got her own earrings, a whole shoebox full of 'em, big dangly ones"

Don't believe that's Danny Glover and definitely no need to mention Lou Ferrigno, Michael, his name's on the back of his shirt, fer Pete's sake! But, what, no love for Mark Twain?! ;-) For the kids wondering about the old dude in the frog jumping contest, it's a little homage to Mark Twain's story, "The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County". Cosell's closing speech was the best part for me, gets ya right *there*. And "what in the world is wrong with that?!". Nothing at all, Howie *sniff*

Pretty major TV celebs (for the time, obviously) on BotNS- you would never see that caliber of TV celebs on today's celeb-realilty fare. It would be like Hugh Laurie and Tina Fey on DWTS!

Willy Beamish was banned from entering this race for giving his frog Pepsi the previous year. Look under mufflers, but be careful! MUFF-A-LERS? Too bad the Olympia beer hobo couldn't be in that ad too!

OK, the Lowenbrau ad - there are four people, but the guy is so cheap that he only brings one six-pack (I guess the guys get two each, and the ladies only get one)! 12 would have been better - three a piece; either that or, four for each man, and two for each woman. Also the Goodyear commercial is narrated by the voice for He-Man.
