70's Monte Carlo 5.3 LS Swap Turbo Kit Build (@ Speedaddixxgarage)

Look what we have in the shop!! This is by far one of the cleanest cars from the 1970's!! Who doesn't like a G Body!! This one has a built 5.3, Build 4L80e and its getting a custom turbo kit built by myself. We have some goodies from Vibrant, Borg Warner, Turbosmart just to name a few.

Doing my 85 regal its like a turbo almost falls in. Mine has plastic inner fenders and they are mates. Take battery out and it has 2 big circles to cut out for piping. Made for a intercooler. Just doing a 3.8 to 408 swap is all lol.

That's a good tutorial. I just subscribed.. I'm doing the similar setup but wit ac on a Regal. Would you have gone with a turbo Header vs the manifold?

yes I would have. I like the tried and true flipped truck manifolds. You cant beat cast unless your gonna spend some money on some trick stainless headers. these had flat face vbands and I like the male/female vbands
