Thank you for the awesome content. For Question 4 - I used a slightly approach and got E as the answer. Below is my breakdown. I would very much appreciate it if you could explain where my mistake is. I used a double set matrix to breakdown the info: Full-time Division X - A Full-time Division Y - C Full time of company Z - (A+C) Part-time Division X - B Part-time Division Y - D Part time of company Z - (B+D) Total Employees of Division X - (A+B) Total Employees of Division X - (C+D) Which Breaks down the root of the question as - is A/B > (A+C)/(B+D). Since the numbers have to be positive as you can't have negative numbers of employees, I cross multiplied and deduced it to "is AD>AC?" 1. The first information says that C/D < (A+C)/(B+D) --> (BC + DC) < (DA + DC ) --> BCC and D>B. Since D could be smaller than or greater than C, it's NS. Together - We still can't answer the missing information from above, therefore the answer has to be E? Thank you for your time and help! Maddy

Hey, thanks for the helpful explanation : ) For question 2: Why can't one subtract the first equation from the second one with the data provided in option 1? So: 480 = xi + 1.5x(i - 36) 480 = xi -------------------------------- - 0 = 1.5x(i - 36) 0 = 1.5xi - 54x 54x = 1.5xi 54 = 1.5i i = 54 / 1.5 = 36

Kevin van Geest we can do that only when both the conditions are applicable simultaneously. Here , when one equation occurs the other can’t be possible. So we cannot mix both
