There’s conditioning additives to help preserve fuel quality, also a lot of the old cars before everything went electronic telling the engine it’s every move, they weren’t nearly as stubborn & could get by using old gas for a while, could last over a decade.

BWTECH0521 I bought a 98 ford ranger for $200. Put about $450 into it and got it to pass safety and emissions inspections, and about $2500 more in parts and a bunch of work (luckily I work in a machine shop or the cost would be substantially more) and I've got a daily driver that looks good and will run high 10's in the quarter mile all day long. If your willing to learn and put the effort into it it can definitely pay off in the end👍

I'll bet you're an expert on changing that head gasket after doing it 3 times. You are so right. That's how you learn. Fastest way to learn is to have some one show you how its done, i learned how to paint buy trial and error took me years because i had no one to show me.
