Astrobiscuit is the Christiaan Huygens of our age. You should have talked to the red bunny, who says: You could do even better! Add a tube exhaust fan below the main mirror, which increases your luck in lucky imaging, because it reduces tube and mirror seeing that never stops entirely, especially not if the night cools down, by sucking out warm air. And slightly stop down the main mirror edge with a ring (e.g. 3d printed) to hide the diffraction of the mirror clamps and the often not entirely perfect mirror edge. A few mm suffice, just check the halo of a bright star to see the difference.

It may be a bit late as Rory’s computer is in the repair shop. Pink bunny has been hiding his carrots in it.

*I only had a mild curiosity about astronomy until I watched some of this dude's videos. They really hooked me & I want to learn more. Seriously, this dude should have his own TV show. The production and the way he presents is top notch!* 👋👋 *PS. Is he related to Richard Hammond?*

Just a little over a week ago found this channel looking to get started on astronomy as a hobby but watching this videos seems way more fun entertaining. I love the sense of humour.
