It's so damn light that you can keep pretty much everything inside the car don't need to remove seats or upholstery to save weight. AWD conversion or a JDM spec AWD would be a drag monster for sure.

I drive a super rusty Honda Jazz (the European version of a fit) has lowering springs, sports cat straight to civic back box, poly bushed and strengthened front arms and 15x7 wheels that used to have have Michelin ps3’s all in a £500 Jazz ($650) with the stock 1.3 I-dsi 8v engine with 8 spark plugs, averages 48mpg and I drive 500miles a week in it for work

I’m curious what gas you was using when you got the 18mpg(assuming expressway), because my 700whp tt 2015 mustang gt that weighs 3800lbs get me 25mpg on the expressway lol kinda sad a 2300lb 4 cylinder gets worse

That was e85 and it was exactly 18.006 mpg. I wanted to get a precise measurement so I filled it to the top of the filler neck before and after the drive.

It was necessary due to shifter position and center console clearance to retain the stock look. Otherwise the shifter was to close to the dash. It put the shift in the perfect, most comfortable spot
