That is what these amazing builds are for..,to be driven to the fullest..best of all as a daily & long road trips..through secondary roads..my fav being from NY to Montana with no time limitation via countryside roads as much as possible..great memories on these back roads & motel stop ,but up super early for all day driving..!!

That is gorgeous! I’ve owned 2 70’ Camaros, this is my dream car! New technology in that beautiful body. Have a 18’ ZL1 pushing 660rwhp now. Nothing beats that split bumper front end though.

Again, glad to see these builds with a manual transmission.the only way to go I think.,those engines deserve these proper 6 speed manual..I drove the LS9 Corvette ZR1 with a stock auto-trans then later got to drive the same car fitted with a TREMEC 6 speed ,and it was not at all the same engine.nor the same car to drive..!!.the driving pleasure & feel of such powerful motors is just amazing, especially when driving fast on 'proper' countryside roads.. even with full winter tires in Montana..!!

Beautiful car. My 73 had the 350 hp 350 and that thing was a blast to drive and way too easy to get into trouble with. Oh the fun and the tickets i could accumulate with double the hp!😝😝

@2:16 says it all! Buy an old muscle and proceed to empty your bank account chasing today's feel and performance. Someday I'll finish my 79 T/A. :)

What a truly insane/beautiful build. Questions, a bigger drive pully would obviously tone things down a bit, so mere mortals could handle the reduced power & torque a bit better. Would the heat dissipating characteristics still be there? Or is the extra airflow critical to this being better for the engine?

I had one exactly same year and color. It only had a 307 so a little less HP than this bad boy. Unfortunately I wrapped it around a tree.
