Cool build! You may have issues with your 'vacuum signal' ports'. They wont see load under the carbs like they would NA. The vacuum only increases with engine load instead of the other way around with a blower

You are correct! That's exactly what I saw in a data log when I checked.

I like the paint scheme you have, plus the idea of glossing up the scoop. The silver bits (caps, brackets, etc.) add a nice contrast to the black.

You only see boost under the blower when under load, normal cruising there is vacuum

Also, man, the lighting is 100% better. Good job on the changes there!

Great thumbnail, Ben! (The episode was pretty good too or whatever... 😊)

Keep the bright aluminum and paint the block and heads Chevy orange or gloss black. The top hat can be painted gloss black like the blower. The shiny ribs on the bower is a nice contrast to the paint scheme. 👍🏻

Is there any benefit in having dual carburetors or injector doodads (like you have) versus a single with the same overall flow rate? Maybe a better air/fuel distribution across the screws, and thus into the manifold below? Or does it not matter at all?

Hey guys I’m going to show you how I did this thing on a “budget”.. What’s the budget IDK because not one thing was said about the cost of anything!! Stupid

Ha caught me. I only mentioned the price of one part. On purpose. Next video plan is a real cost breakdown. Drops this Friday, keep an eye out!

Good overall, but brush up on your water pump knowledge that hole in the top is not for a big block. Big and small blocks dont share a water pump, also more to differences between short and long than the snout size. Learn, and we can all learn. Good job, looking forward to more on the two sniper set up.

I noticed you didnt cover pinning the crank…that was a catastrophic mistake on my motor which led to the pulley coming off running it over took out torque converter bent the crossmember smashed my exhaust bent a wheel blew out a tire and put dents in my quarter panel….do not use the factory keyway folks..lesson learned move on to the next one

Yup! This is just mockup. During install I'm going to cover exactly that
