Interesting process. Beautiful result. One thing I appreciate most about your videos is that you honestly share the explorative elements of your process that kind of demystifies ‘art’ and invites anyone who is watching to give it a try. The process of creating something is just as legit as the quality of the end result. Thanks!

The beginning of this reminds me of using crayons and coloring any color combo I wanted then coloring over it with black and then using a tool, removing the black similar to how you are doing it in paint. That was one of my favorite things to do when I was young. Now I learned a grown-up way to do it in paint! Still doing it when I am young at heart. Wow, yours turned out so beautiful! thanks for sharing!

Yay... you figured out how to speed up the video. Well done ;) Don’t get me wrong... I’m watching all of them... no matter how long they are :) As you said, some things don’t need much explanation, like dripping paint on a canvas and blowing it around. I think it’s easier to paint what you imagine when you are in a Zen mode. Talking might interrupt this flow. Your Lipski studies are beautiful. What an incredible difference, when you put these little frames onto the painting. Thank you for the advice :)

This reminds me of something we did when I was younger. but it was done with crayons, I loved doing that. I love your videos and have been watching from the beginning (Video #1). I have to say that I am disappointed that for the late 600's and up, you do not have playlists. I have to keep going back to the videos to get the next in succession, they don't always show up on the side of my computer. Anyway, keep doing what you do. I can't wait until I am caught up to real time...

Just a thought. I might do a four piece with the smallest square. Two from the orange areas with a little green stem and then two below with only green stem. I think that would be beautiful and highlight the best parts!! You could hang them like a window with 4 panes. I really enjoy your videos. Never let the complainers get you down!

Annemarie, this is beautiful! I loved the final tiny one. I think it would be worth a larger scale painting 1m x 1m, for instance. Do you think it would be possible to repeat the same technique for this fragment and on large scale?...the technique is quite unpredictable, maybe something different will come out, rather than enlarging this pretty abstract composition..
