@@yarnover Nah. Commercials aren’t the same as they were back in the day nor are there as many. Tv is different today. People don’t sit through commercials like we used to. All I can say is that I’m so glad I grew up in the 70’s and 80’s.

Born in 1962 - growing up in the 70’s, I wish the country was happy and carefree like those tv commercials and shows. Back before the internet, cell phones, cable tv… anyone or everyone who grew up back then can appreciate this video. Quirky, yes but I loved my childhood and growing up using my imagination vs. using technology for entertainment ….

Excellently put… I am legally blind and a lot of stuff today. Just seems like a bunch of really super confusing. Frustrating noise…. I grew up in the 80s and yes, commercials were way more straightforward and what they are trying to advertise and they seem to be today… It’s kind of like reading a book before you get to go see the movie of the book… You already have an idea of what’s going on… I think that’s preferable to just going to some movie that doesn’t have any book related to it although lots of things that are coming out these days have audio description and that makes things really interesting but yeah, I agree with you about older commercials much easier to sort out what’s going on and what they’re trying to advertise
