When you defend against two striker system, just make sure you know their roles, and what they tend to do based on role. Use your fast CB to face the AF, and big talk CB to face Target forward or DLF (which will drop but then run into the box for headers or tap ins)

Purist here who likes a possession based short passing tactic. Finding false 9s in the lower leagues, especially semi-pro, is hard. Inverted FBs and WBs too. Mind you, finding IFs for a 4-3-3 is also tough. I enjoyed your video here and will consider using the tactic in future. Thank you.

Would like to see an actual like for like Pep tactic. I know they've being done in the past but it's always the same high tempo counter stuff. When I watch City, they never play at a high tempo and always pass around patiently waiting for the right time to strike.

Heard narrow tactics don’t work well in 24, but I did one winning prem with Brighton and Italian title with europa league double with Atalanta.

They do work, but may require more patience that wider systems. Narrow systems can be DEADLY once everything has connected. Or, it can be awful and easy to exploit if not well set up. Wider systems, you can say, provides better balance and maybe one reason some thing narrow tactics don't work

@@RDFTactics I’ve used narrow most of fm24. I’m currently using a 4-3-3 with no counter or counter press giving me a league 2 title with mk dons (with 142 goals) and a sky bet championship with Southampton (118 goals) with wolves finishing 3rd. Still work in progress though.

I am currently working on a hybrid tactic, I mean the base tactic is 4-4-2 but in the attack phase it is to be 3-5-2

Create a tactic that is focused on the left hand side overload without any strict postinial play striker eg lb lcm striker and LW overload and the RW with a runner to exploit the space. When the lefthandside is overloaded they use a lot of shot passes with a faster tempo because the players need to be close each other to create that fast pace tempo on the left hand side. My preference lcm becoming a lb, lb pushing up into lcm or lwb the LW and the striker almost in the same line the DM also pushing up into the ten space

can you do the tactic where either 1. 4-3-3 flat (3 CM and 3 ST) where the possession is very high on percentage but the CM is stationary,like just sit on midfielder,do a killer long pass and then defend. with striker to operate on final 3rd OR 2. extreme route one where the only thing we know is the striker wait in own half then when he got the ball on middle he sprint and score goal from running from middle zone

Personally i have had good succes with this tactic in my ManU career(it is primarily a Big team tactic): GK: Sweeper ATT LB: IFB DE LCB: Libero SU RCB: CD RB: IWB SU DM: DLP SU LCM: B2B SU RCM: Mezzala ATT LW: Winger ATT(Cut inside instruction) RW: Winger ATT(Cut inside instruction) ST: F9 SU(If you want more goals then use an AF ATT) Was good defensively and was actually threatening offensively while being no. 1 in the PL in possession. Creates a strong 2-3-5 when attacking, but you need an elite Libero(think Alaba), elite DLP(think Kimmich) and an elite IWB(Think Trent) to dominate the midfield and keep possesion which allows your 5 offensive minded players to attack with freedom

Change both strikers to DLF support and your two central midfielders to CM on attack. Libero-BPD then have both Full backs on FB support. Positive mentality. Just watch results. Try what I've done and I think you'll agree 👍 results boggling
