(716) PVA GLUE pouring medium ~ Cup bottom reverse flower dip ~ Fluid art ~ Acrylic pouring flower

Today I will try to do a cup bottom reverse flower dip with PVA glue as my pouring medium.
My pearl white is a little thinner than other colours, so the lacing don't keep a shape.
Tell me in the comments, if you want me to try it again with thicker mixture.
Pouring medium: PVA craft glue and water (80% craft glue and 20% water).
Ratio paint to glue mixture is 1:1 and water if needed.
TECHNIQUE: Reverse flower dip with paper napkin, Cup bottom pour
PROCESS:
- Pour your base on canvas
- Put your FLOWER SHAPED DESSERT CUP on the canvas with bottom up
- Pour paints on the bottom and use PEARL WHITE or some metallic paints between each colour to create petal - lacing effect
- Take off the cup
- Use SKEWER to draw some petal shapes
- Gently put PAPER NAPKIN or towel on canvas ( You can use dry or damped napkin)
- Lift one corner at the time and then gently lift it (the middle last)
- Torch it for air bubbles and to activate pearl white and metallic paints
- And here is your flower :)
MATERIAL I USED:
- 10x10 inch canvas
- Acrylic paints mixed with pouring medium
- Flower shaped desert cup
- Paper napkin or towel
- Wooden skewer
- Palete knife
- Torch
COLOURS I USED:
- Amsterdam oxide black
- Pebeo iridescent precious gold
- Pebeo iridescent copper
- Arties colours alizarian crimson
- Pearl white (1 part Vallejo pearl medium to 1 part Amsterdam titanium white)

I would love to see you do it again. I sometimes use pva glue to thicken my mixtures. What I mean is after I use my regular mix, if I want it thicker for more defined lines etc, I add a glug (Yes that's a measurement in my mind) to the cup of mixed paint. I think this one is pretty. Flowers are not perfect.

We all know the secret sauce is the Vallejo pearl medium you use. I know my paints have been way to thin for your flower dips. Now that I have that Emulsa bond, I did get better results the last time i tried. It was the closest I've come to getting the lacing. Your flowers are the most perfect!

I know that you had problems with the Pearl White was a bit thinner, but I LOVE the color composition and I think it is well worth thickening the Pearl White and trying again. Try again. It's the way you pull up the napkin is why you get it on one side. When you spread the napkin to get other 4 corners you move the napkin. Look at your videos. When you do all 8 sides the same when you pull into the middle then they are equal. I love this one. The camera should have been facing above looking down because we just saw the one side and it was far away. Thank you for your videos. Hope you don't mind me telling you my opinion to fix some of the issues. Just trying to help you. Big hugs from west coast USA.
