Im around your age. I modified my 2018 hatchback sport. Never too old for what you like. Its what our generation started doing to civics back in the mid to late 90s. Civics are just associated with teens and early 20s folks because they're cheaper cars.. well, at least they used to be.

I was 35 when I started “modding”. A 1998 civic EX I put it in quotes because I did most basically just cosmetic i.e. lights, etc. Right now I’m 52 and I just got a brand new civic and I hope to do some stuff to, again, not to elaborate, just basic cosmetic stuff like lights, maybe springs, etc. So no if you like something there’s no age limit like everyone else says.

If they came factory, just as you would turn your headlights on, there is another turn switch on the same switch. 2 sqibbly lines and a headlight. Turn it back and forth to turn on/off foglights.

I installed the hood struts on my Z. It was nice and the hood struts on that car raised the hood higher which was nice. I wonder if it’s possible to get longer struts to open the hood higher on the Civic? It looks way better with hood struts.

That commenter was a troll. It doesn't matter how old you. And ricer is used for people who don't "properly" mod a car. Like a weld-on cheap muffler, cutting stock springs to lower it, crazy body kits that don't fit right and look ridiculous, etc. Ever watch the VTEC Academy channel with Brian Gillespie? He still mods Honda's. Fck them trolls. Do what makes you happy. Don't stop. I started at 16, I'm 41 now. I'll never stop if I have the money. And the difference between modding a Honda and those other cars you mentioned is that Honda's are good, reliable cars. Not POS's like American or German cars.

I’m 30 and started nodding cars at 16. Never too old for it! If your allowed to mod muscle cars at 80+ then why can’t we mod the cars we grew up with into our 80’s?
