Yo I’m a straight dude from Texas that started watching Pose cause my homegirl and I ran out of shit to watch on quarantine. Had I known ahead of time it was all about Drag I would have never given it a chance, but we started watching it and man it’s objectively a really good show. When Billy Porters character finds out he tests positive for HIV I am sure the board at the Emmy’s was like “welp, he wins.” Not only that, but then his character wastes no emotion on any word... he got a rightfully deserved Emmy and I find myself now fully engaged in this show... well done FX

he wasn't my favorite character on the show...but he was the most important character on the show, because as flawed as he was, he was the moral compass of the show....The Mama, so to speak. And POSE, doesn't work without him in it.
