I watched the season finale a little while ago. I cried like a baby witnessing the end of one of the most profound and important stories to ever be told. The angels are singing and my heart jumped when I read that you have kick the shame to the curb. It took me 23 years to do the same. Yes it is very freeing and amazing that we can take the power back from the devil and his shame. I have not ever been sick and I learned to love, like, and forgive myself. And I refuse to allow anyone knock it down. God bless you always. I live in Park Hill Staten Island and my neighbor upstairs is friends with someone who stars on pose with you but I'm not sure who. We need you to speak up for this cause because where I live it is running rampant and it breaks my heart to see people be so naive and negligent when it comes to this illness. Billy Porter is such an easy person to love. His genuiness shines through in everything he does. Pose is a must see series for any gay person over the age of 40 who witnessed the aids crisis and what life was truly like before it was "ok to be gay". It wouldn't hurt for today's youth to tune in and see what being gay was like before technology allowed the luxury of an online platform to let your message be heard. When you had to fight tooth and nail for the most basic human rights. These fine actors and actresses deserve more than a paycheck and an award for bringing part of our history to life. For those of us who lived through those years it's bittersweet and at times painful to watch.
