This reminds me of a saying from an old Tv show “Gilligan’s Island” that goes “never criticize anyone else unless you can do better yourself.” Part of the human condition to judge (assess the competition for strength or weaknesses) and voice that judgement on what you don’t like. I’m no angel and I have passed judgement and criticized more than praise but I am aware of this and try to keep most of negativity to myself or vent it in a journal or a friendly trusted ear. Unfortunately social media and the internet have made people feel free to voice their opinions with little fear of repercussions. I’ve heard time and time again of KZbinrs reaching a certain level of success start getting harsh negative comments. I know one KZbinr who had to turn her comments off for a while to get some relief. Sad but true. So for you trolls, if you can do better, do it yourself!

All looks very lovely~thanks for sharing! I am somewhat curious why so much of that fantastic garden food is ground up into purée? Is that a cultural staple? I am bias from the New Orleans area where we brag of the best food in the world! lol But a big part of Nola cultural food is keeping the flavorfully seasoned &vegetables distinct….like those tomatoes only needed a little seasoning like salt pepper Cheyenne…or the tomatoes soup with the other veg looked amazing! Why grind it all up like baby food kind of texture? Maybe some New Orleans recipes would inspire some whole food dishes!

❤ I cook better than eating out, but sometimes my husband wants to go out to eat. It’s a challenge, but I allow the opportunity to see what he’s craving that I might not make at home.
