Yes, the “North-East 3” was just *awful* wasn’t it? But I do have a soft spot for it because it was the first Tyne-Tees ident I’d ever seen, aged 6 or 7 on a visit to my grandparents caravan near Scarborough. (The caravan site got a clearer signal from Bilsdale than it did from Belmont or the Oliver’s Mount relay in Scarborough itself).
