If you are interested check out my service truck tour. There is a fuel system; tester, primer, pressurizer, I think you would be interested in. There was one of those 'greatest generation" guys who worked for Cummins in Redding Ca. 1960' -1980's who took a two stroke Detroit fuel pump, attached it to a heater motor and installed a vacuum gauge and sight glass. In 5 min you can test a fuel system from engine to tank for restriction and air. Fully prime a fuel system, great for out of fuel service calls. Pressurize fuel system, locate internal leaks with the engine not running. That has been one of my best low power tools over the years.

Really enjoying this content. Can't wait to see the finished product. Side note...do you still have the amazon tool haul video? I remember buying some hyd. plugs and caps from your recommendation on that video but cannot remember what other goodies you found. Thanks

Unfortunately all the old videos are gone like the wind lol. Just go on Amazon and type in jic plugs and o-ring face plugs. Thanks for the comment I appreciate it.

If that aspirator check valve is gone I'd check the muffler. Seen quite a few over the years with the inside of the muffler blown out. If have a bad muffler your new air filter/aspirator is going to get burnt again quickly. I had a 7220 catch the air filter on fire. Cost the customer an engine.

I took a quick look in the muffler and didn't see any problems but I will take a much harder look at it now. Thanks for the help!

Them Cummins aren’t the easiest things to prime in my experience. Just comparing them to my other tractors
