Good Luck with the auction, I hope they both set records in terms of price at the auction. When I was younger I always wanted to restore a Mid-60s Ford 6000 Commander with the narrow front wheels, but never did. Even though I grew up around everything green, I always thought that was a cool looking tractor with the blue frame/engine and the gray hood

Is that air cleaner oil bath or paper? Got an old 4010 with an oil bath and wonder if it's worth the trouble of switching it over to paper. Probably not.
@rgfarmsrepair503
@rgfarmsrepair503 6 сағат бұрын
It's an oil bath. They work pretty good I personally would just leave it unless you put a ton of hours on the tractor each year.
@Corey-dy2cq

@@rgfarmsrepair503 Nope. Gonna leave it. I read somewhere that it doesn't do a good job of cleaning at idle. I guess if the tractor isn't idling in a dust storm I should be good. Thanks!

Thanks for the video, that tractor didn't look that sharp when it was new. There's no truer words than I want to recoup some of my money on a tractor like that, It's a shame people won't pay all we get into them and a profit. Restoring's got expensive my latest project cost me $1500 for the Fordson super major tractor, $1600 for the 6cyl motor I'm swapping in, $2300 for the rear tires, and $300 for a gasket set for the motor. I haven't even laid a wrench on it yet or got any other parts and paint I have to buy . I hope she sells well, Take care
