it's a 4 stroke engine so it wont affect the preformance, maybe a little but normal 4 stroke scooters are rev limited and in the variator to make it not extend to the maximum point

well the nice and deep sound is destictive for a 4 stroke engine 2 stroke's tend to give a higer pitched sound but if you change te exhaust on a 2 stroke they will normaly do +/- 10 km/h more then on a stock exhaust

robin okken you can get similar gains or losses on a 4t by changing the exhaust also. I have seen +1 hp on the dyno just by changing the factory exhaust to aftermarket on a 72cc gy6 4 stroke. I have also seen +1.3 hp on the same setup with an aftermarket exhaust with a power valve installed. Very pricey and intricate. A lot of work for extra 0.3 horsepower but that's a lot extra on a 5 horepower engine
