Did you hook up your 72v to 12v voltage regulator to the positive and negative leads on the controller or the battery itself? I was gonna run head lights and rear light for mine but i cant decide weather just to get a xt90 parallel splitter to power my lights or just get another power source for my lights
@bolectric
@bolectric 2 жыл бұрын
Directly to the positive and negative terminals on the Kelly controller. I have a decent capacity pack (29.4Ah | 2,116Wh) and my lights don't draw much power so it's fine for my set up. I'm also about convenience and didn't want to have to maintain and charge another pack lol.

@@daflip1500 I have an in-line fuse coming from the step downs positive lead to a wire connector. All my 12v lights are connected to individual switches but my step down isn't connected to a relay or switch. Is the denzel motor a better motor then the my1020. Does it perform better.
@bolectric

I'd say yes. Overall it's a better motor and performs better. Better build quality and internals. It could also take a lot more heat than the MY1020 and has an integrated heat sink as part of the motor housing.

@bolectric
@bolectric 2 жыл бұрын
@@AirTsinelas that's pretty typical when you start modding and use a different wheel set up. Try different spacer and washer combos till you can get it aligned. You can also use something like a ruler or straight edge against the rear and motor sprocket to help you get the proper alignment.

Oh nice. That swing arm you linked is very expensive though. How does it compare to the $125 one you bought?
@bolectric
@bolectric Жыл бұрын
@@schmeglyomigy6174 that's actually one the best priced swing arms for what you get as you'll be paying upwards of $400 for something completely custom. The electrocycle swingarm is better as it's slotted so you don't have to run a chain tensioner along with an adjustable brake mount. It also comes with a nice rear axle and axle nuts. Very well thought out and designed piece IMO.

@@schmeglyomigy6174 I personally would go with Royce Ramirez if you're looking for a fully custom swingarm or www.midwestminimods.com I only paid $125 since it was a 4" extension to the existing swingarm and that was about 2+ years ago. Prices are a lot higher now..
