When you first started to build this bike to make it street legal, did you only have integrated turn signals in the rear or did you have the front ones too? Keep up the great content man! Ride safe and enjoy!

So if you go onto electric and co and press the little shop buttin in the top left and press parts there are a bunch of different brakes, chain and sprocket upgrade kits for a good price

Mt RSF650 with the FW11 motor runs great. I have the controller set to top off at 56mph. That's at 125 Battery amps. I know that the motor can handle 200 Battery amps.

You like the thumb better than the twist throttle?
@PatOutdoorsАй бұрын
@@loaded_n_locked2ajaxthejui835 depends on what I’m using the bike for. Thumb is just more comfortable for the 25+ mile rides I do with this bike. Not good for wheelies, if you’re into that.. I like the throttle better on my SX500 though for short rides, more natural dirt bike feeling
@Epsonblade4 ай бұрын
Hey PAT, have you had any issues with your freewheel? Do you replace them with any one in particular besides it needing to be a 16T?

I’m still using the original freewheel. But I had a failure on my MX500 and just had it welded solid instead

@@PatOutdoors I have seen a couple people doing this... Is that considered "direct drive" Would coasting back feed the brushless motor or controller? Also, would locking up the brakes cause stress on the components? Very interested to find out if there is a negative to welding it up...

Do you ever run into heat issues on your motor? What amps are you putting out?
@PatOutdoors5 ай бұрын
I used to, before I drilled out all the vent holes larger on both end caps. I still hear my controller beeping here and there on super long uphills if I’m full throttle, but rarely now. Only 120 peak, 60 amps continuous.

Hey pat, question how do you wire the brakes so that each you stop they come on versus always having the light switch on?
@PatOutdoors5 ай бұрын
Need a signal wire going to the brake lever (mine has a pit bike brake front with a built in switch) My lights are on so my running lamp is on the rear, brake light is on because I’m holding down the front brake.
@rainbow6replay7335 ай бұрын
@@PatOutdoors right mine too, it has a positive and negative post, I just don't know where to wire those and how to find out which is positive and negative post
@PatOutdoors5 ай бұрын
it doesn’t matter, it just completes a circuit (for the power supply wire going to the brake lamp.) so power wire needs to go to brake lever, then from lever to brake light, then it turns on when you apply brakes
@rainbow6replay7335 ай бұрын
