That's what I love about it when you get flying on a direct drive hub motor, you just eat up the road ahead... Now, I know my builds only a 2000w & 52v with shunt modded 45a controller, but in the town I live in when I open it up I'm running out of road real fast... Hey Tommi I put a steering stabilizer on my bike and it works great just like your does. I couldn't take my hands off the handle bars at fairly high speeds without it starting to shake. That battery you built is a beast who cares what it looks like as long as it works and functions like it should that's all that matters. I tried to call you but your number has been changed. Few years ago I added 24AH to a already 14.25ah 36volt 833watt prodecotech and I was getting 26mph throttle only and 80miles a charge on throttle only. I loved that bike the motor crapped out at 7000 miles. Back in 2017-2018 I had that bike. The extra batteries were from old ebikes and escooters I would wire in parallel and made it one big very slow charging battery. 2x 1.8amp chargers 42 volts. I want to build a ebike again. I have acquired a 52volt 26AH battery from a 2kwh scooter that I want to use

Why don't you use the lower part of your bicycle between the front wheel and the frame? I know it can look strange but there is a decent space you can use even with front suspension. So you could have 2 battery that you link in parallel with a special box

@ free up a lot of space for the controller and maybe easier to make waterproof/resistant. If the battery box went back far enough it would act as a rear fender as well.
