Sounds like everyone else will regret it. After watching this moron blabbing away and knowing SATs aren’t allowed to be submitted, I’m predicting white and Asian and smart black flight from UCLA to schools with actual standards.

I loved the way camera guy had her circle around in about a 50' radius. She's also only a sophomore, so she's still stuck in lower-division classes; when she hits upper-div, the classes will get a lot smaller. She's also typical of the fairer gender at UCLA, very attractive (guys are undoubtedly too). Edit add: The stats just came out for the incoming class of 2022, and UCLA became the first public university to dip < 10%, with an 8.6% acceptance rate.

wow i'm from the uk. you have a centre that only has black people? she said a place black people can study. wow. i can't explain the level of weird that is to a brit. there'd be an uproar if we had race segregation for anything... america is another universe.

It's not segregation at all. You have to understand that cultural attitudes here are different. Many blacks weren't allowed in mass into these institutions till 5 or 6 decades ago. A lot of these orgs are left overs from that period. As long as the minority groups are fine with it its all that matters. Also this country has 50 states that could be a countries in their own right if the ppl agreed to it. Some are way more homogenous than others. Also Black Americans specifically had their culture from over seas taken from them so as racial group in the states the made a cultural out of what was watered down and want to preserve it. This is mainly because our white majority here still has negative attitudes against black American despite their contribution to the American society. As long as whites don't entirely see them as American this will continue. And everyones version of what is American is different. It's like we don't like to acknowledge our lack of homogeny but rather creat pockets....its not black americans fault whites litterally segregated on purpose and it has had lasting generational effects. I am Immigrant and when I lived in a white homogenous community I was not welcome and experienced violence as a result including slurs beingg thrown at me and being jumped in a middle school locker room because of it. I'm older now and live in a diverse area, but I still support these orgs because though the violence isn't as present here some of those bigoted attitudes are still very much in the open. Not only did america eventually abolish slavery they continued to keep black people enslaved indirectly for many years. The current white majority does not know what to do with themselves. Half of them hate their own existence and are constantly distancing themselves from the violent one's. I knew a guy who dated outside of his race because he "hated being white and if he had black kids at least he is doing his part" the problem is tht your kids are not obviously black...they are mixed....which is another convo for latter....anyways I agree evrything is ass over backwards here...sorry for the rant lol

@@Impericallyfrozen racial tensions can never end if people racial everything. one of the strangest things from a foreigner's perspective is you have hyphenated americans except for whites which implies whites are americans and everyone else is something less. blacks call themselves 'african'-americans instead of americans. even though they've never even been to any african country and barely know where it is on a map. they think africa is a country! crazy.

@@Impericallyfrozen no it is not. whites called blacks 'coloured' people. it was the blacks in america that invented the idea of 'african-american'. they also came up with that non-sensical gem 'POC' (i.e. non-white). just dumb and divisive stuff.

@@gazlives White Americans are also hyphenated culturally. We have Italian-Americans, Irish-Americans etc...The hyphenation is simply to recognize an ethnic group but they're still Americans and White. It's as if in the UK, you were recognizing Jamaican-Brits and Nigerian-Brits as distinct ethnic groups within Black Brits..
