Pure Heroine is one of the best albums of all time. It came out when I was 16 and Lorde was 17, and it truly felt like she was singing hymns to the end of childhood, the bittersweet emotions of it all. When Melodrama came out, I was in nyc discovering what it meant to be free, just as Lorde was. Our generation will forever be grateful for her narration of our experiences.

I knew that she would answerr Bowie the second he laid out the question. It is rare that such similar beings actually get to cross paths and I know they both did, before he passed.
