Paramotor training takes hours of training every detail of glider control into reflexes. In order to get 25-80 HOURS of practice you have to train in the perfect location and in order to actually learn every detail of glider control you have to learn from a true master pilot and instructor who actually teaches them. Without the perfect beach location there is simply no possible way to get enough hours of practice to develop any real skills.
It's life & death critical to really LOOK at the outcome of different schools and compare skills against skills. There are soooo many completely incompetent people pretending to be instructors and no matter how much hype they give the one sure way to cut the crap is to LOOK at the actually skill level of the instructor and their students. Send this video to ANY other school and challenge them to SHOW a video of their instructors and students doing what you see 73 year old Nick doing here. Doing a proper run & jump over and over without losing control and getting every detail correct takes a ton of work. Very few out there acting as "instructors" can even do what you see in this video. Just challenge anyone out there to SHOW their skills doing this. Either they can or they can't. It's that simple. If you can't do run & jumps in wind like this with this level of control you absolutely should not be flying.
When your life is important to you there is only one person to call for SUPER training and that is the best pilot and instructor in the world. No matter where you are in the world it is worth every penny and will actually save you a fortune and could literally save your life to just get the absolute best paragliding and paramotoring instruction on earth.
There is a "training video" put out by Aviator PPG for example where their 4 instructors all try to do a run & jump side by side. 3 of them take a collapse as they don't have even the most basic skill or understanding of glider control and the 4th pounds into the ground having pulled brakes on the way up leaving nothing left for the flare. LOOK at real actual skills and compare skills against skills. People lie but skills don't. Either those skills are there in the instructors and in their students or they are not. No need for arguing or bs. Truth is truth. Please by all means SHOW students from ANY other school in the world doing this let alone their 73 year old students.

Well there is soooo much more to it than just what you get from a video. You can't learn karate from a video just like you can't learn paramotoring. So you really want to do it in person. It's the only way you are going to gain true mastery level skills quickly.

@@DellSchanze oh definitely. No interest in trying anything until training. I just always dive as thoroughly into any subject so I know what questions to ask and what to look for. I’ve been watching this stuff for ten years and just now asking questions. I even watch beginners tutorials on stuff I know well. I’m alive and others are injured or gone Because I took many courses and instructions , first responder, swift water rescue training. while other people went out playing in rapids or the high tides of northern Atlantic Ocean without having minor problems in simple conditions. Flying is a sobering thought in that there is no second chances comparatively.
