Be as one with your wing before you fly. Great to watch, thanks, Dell.

Now I know why one can't fly from a gust. The glider ends up moving relative to the airspeed, and then it sinks.

Can you please make a video talking about hang points? I don't understand why trikes don't tip or roll forward or backward. And if you fly a random trike with a light person, do you have to change the hang point if you want to carry a heavier person?

Given the wing is reversed - do you need to reverse your knowledge when actually fly or are the controls still the same?

It is it's own technique.

Yeah... Looks easy, but thinking those of us with bad knees & hips, this is not going to be a learning tool! So,, that said,, how does those with, let's just say, less mobility, learn to kite a wing? I understand that kiting the wing is a very important part of this sports training, but not sure how. Im sure a cart is going to be an investment, but,,, I've watched your videos over and over and you are so strong on, "kiting the wing" 2 new hips that can't be over stretched or they pop out of the new socket. Getting ready to get the 2nd new knee, this week. Not sure 2 plastic knees can can kite a wing either. Any ideas? I really want to set up a training session as soon as rehab ends. Thanks

Kiting takes very little physical ability. If you have no legs at all then we just do the kiting from the trike. We sand bag the trike to the beach and you simply kite from the trike itself until you master the glider. Master of glider control is everything because it's the glider you fly. You don't fly a trike. it only rolls. You don't fly a paramotor as that only pushes you. It's the glider you fly so it's absolutely critical to master true and real control of it before you ever take your first flights or you end up with a nightmare.

Crazy air can happen. It's just the way it goes. One of the reasons a paraglider is so incredibly safe is because of it's ability to collapse and absorb energy. With a wing like a hang glider that can't collapse if it get's hit with a 40 mph gust it can throw it into an unrecoverable attitude where a paraglider can just collapse and absorb the energy and then pop right back out and keep on flying. With real training and the best gear like the Dominator the odds of a collapse are very low but then even if you do take one it's generally a total non issue with a Dominator because it's so incredibly safe. If you don't take collapses on the ground then you shouldn't take collapses in the air as the skills are exactly the same. So at SUPER training you absolutely master control of the glider on the ground until you never ever take collapses before you ever take those first flights. It makes it a ton safer and a ton more fun. So a collapse is really not something to worry about when you have SUPER skills along with a Flat Top & Dominator. Feel free to call me at 800-707-2525 and I can answer any of your questions in more detail if you like.
