That right there was probably one of the best moments of his entire life... good on him. I know I will never forget my first paramotor flight and hooked ever since.

You mean the Sky K2 clone ?
@DellSchanze Жыл бұрын
Nice lie but it's not a clone. It IS the Sky K2. Exact same glider. I bought the rights to it legally from Sky. It is the exact glider with the exact same certification. It's not a clone. It's not a fake. It's the real actual glider. The Dominator just has all the latest upgrades in materials and features but those don't change the certifications. Of course that lie also doesn't in any way negate the fact of all the records I've set on the Dominator. You can lie and claim it's a clone but how does that in any way shows someone else beating my records? It doesn't. It just shows that you don't really know anything but hate the truth so badly you don't care how silly the lie is.

Hi Dell, I am sold to your machine flat top! I live in a country whose land is approximately 300m/1000feet above sea level. Will there be any advantage or disadvantage with this paramotor?
@DellSchanze Жыл бұрын
Doesn't really matter. Lower altitude gives you thicker air so you have more lift at a slower ground speed but really the Flat Top & Dominator is so incredible it will make little difference when you have SUPER skills.

what engine do you sell with the flattop, Dell?

The best one is currently the lightweight version of the Minari 200 we are using. There is massive experience behind that choice.

I've got a polini Thor 200 cc it has brand new pistons and rings brand new carburetor but it's just too heavy for me I'm a beginner in this sport does anybody have suggestions what I should do
@DellSchanze Жыл бұрын
Yes for sure get a Flat Top. Even my 12 year old can launch the Flat Top 200R in nil wind in the mountains of Utah because it's dry weight is astonishingly only 55 lbs. Then get a Dominator to go with it as it's super light, crazy efficient and produces lift at the lowest possible speed making launching & landing as easy as possible. Plus it has the highest level of safety and performance all in the same glider. Get the best gear and it's a completely different sport. Call 801-631-1731

@@DellSchanze okay should I sell my polini Thor 200 cc and get a flat top and can you use a skywalk chilling number for as a ppg wing it has been sent off and it has passed every inspection
@DellSchanze Жыл бұрын
Yes I would sell it as it is and get a whole new Flat Top 200R. Yes you can fly absolutely any paraglider with a Flat Top paramotor. So the Skywalk will work just fine. The best would be a Dominator but there is no problem with the Skywalk as long as it's one of their certified gliders. There is no such thing as a "ppg wing". Usually if someone says that it just means that it sucks so bad that no paraglider pilot would ever fly it lol. The exact same characteristics you want for paragliding are exactly the same ones you want for paramotoring. There is no difference at all. Zero. So the best paraglider is the best paraglider. Just call me at 801-631-1731 and I can shoot you straight so you don't waste any money.

Dell, I was initially pretty hesitant about you, as I'd only seen Tucker's videos before. After seeing a few of your videos, like your comparison between the Flat Top and the Parajet Maverick, I can't deny the obvious differences. I initially thought you had an abrasive personality, but now I see it's because you're tired of people dying or getting hurt. I had to put my own emotions aside so I could focus on the facts, not the personality. I've also seen that your students are able to do things like SAT's within 10 days (if he hadn't flown prior to your class, idk about that one) which Tucker says take years to get the skills to do. I've also never seen a Flat Top appear in any of Tucker's crash videos. As much as I initially wanted to dislike you, I'm coming to the conclusion that even if I don't like how you say things sometimes, I can't argue with any of the things you say. Watching your Maverick comparison made me start to question a lot of things, because a lot of the issues you pointed out are commonly happening to Tucker or people in his crash videos. Jumping on the motor proved it's got strength. Should I ever get the money to fly, it's starting to look like I'll go to you instead of Aviator Paramotor. I hope you've got a protégée in mind for when you retire, as your training video is clear evidence that your students perform better than most people that have been flying already. I'll still watch Tucker, but under a different view for sure. I'll be far more critical of the things he does and issues that occur. I'd not even known about Flat Tops until a few days ago when I discovered you. I kinda figured it came with the territory of flying paramotors that you could expect to have to replace things if you fell or crashed. Do you know of any footage showing a drop test between a Flat Top vs basically any paramotor I've seen in other videos? In my research I came upon a thread where an automotive engineer said that the crumple zone on the Flat Top doesn't really make a big difference as aluminum pipes snap instead of bending like the beams in cars because those beams have notches cut into them. I'm definitely leaning towards the Flat Top should I ever get into the sport, but would really like to see a drop test comparing it against the more popular paramotors.
@DellSchanze Жыл бұрын
The facts are the facts. Someone pretending to be an engineer saying that crumple zone doesn't work and that 6061 T6 aluminum just snaps off... lol. There are literally thousands of tests done on Flat Tops but the testing was much better than a drop test, instead of was live human testing in real life scenarios. I've personally totaled at least 20 Flat Tops just myself with zero injuries. The paramotor industry is very small so it's not likely to see piles of money spent on drop tests and especially so since you don't have to be a rocket scientist to know it's probably better to land on 18 inches of aluminum crumple zone than to land directly on your spine. I have personally stalled a 17sm uncertified acro glider straight into the ground from 40 ft and totally walked away from it. I've also death spiraled into the ground numeous times and walked away from it. I've even hit so hard that I bounced 6 ft in the air and again walked away from it. Roll cage and crumple zone is really pretty simple logic. Could the Flat Top be made even better with millions in testing? Yup I'm sure it could. The fact that it's the absolute best without any close second though is blatantly obvious just by looking at it. No tests are needed for that logical reasoning. The whole reason they call it a "death spiral" is because of how many people have died doing it. Zero have died that way on Flat Tops. If you want to pay for all the paramotors being "tested" then I will be more than happy to do the tests but I think just watching the simple tests I've done comparing other paramotors to the Flat Top make it quite obvious just how huge the safety difference is. Crumple zone is only one single safety feature talked about as well. Take something like protection from the prop. Again I have quite a few videos done showing the Flat Top far exceeding all others. Watch the video series of the 304 reasons competent pilots only fly Flat Tops. 304 reasons will help you learn more about the reality of the sport then any other videos out there. :) Feel free to ask any questions you like about it though.

@@DellSchanze I hope you understand I wasn't attacking you in that comment, as that wasn't my intention. I just wanted to know if you knew of any footage of the crumple zone working. I am going out and doing my own research, since as you say, this sport is for intelligent people. I know that you're aware I can't afford to buy a paramotor, let alone two of them, as I made it known in my comment I'm still unable to afford to fly. If I could afford two of them, I'd be in the air by now. I did find footage, by the way. kzbin.info/www/bejne/a2q7dGClrtNmnpI&ab_channel=ChrisMontes To my delight, the crumple zone worked! He had his reserve out, but it was a small one so he still hit at a decent impact speed. No doubt in my mind if that happened on a Parajet, he wouldn't be standing. When I do get into flying, I obviously want the very safest gear to fly with the best training to boot.
@DellSchanze Жыл бұрын
No worries man. I don't really care if someone is attacking me or not. I just respond to what's said. It's nothing emotional lol. I'm not afraid of the lies people tell in the slightest. I love to address them as the facts are really obvious and logical even to those that know nothing about the sport yet. I've had many people tell me that they watched my comparison videos with their wife and even their wife asked why anyone would EVER fly anything else. One look at a parajet or non Flat Top and even people's wives make comments like there is no way in heck they would fly that lol. It's really pretty obvious and logical. I rarely hear any good lies. Only rarely do they come up with a lie that I have to explain a bit more.
