foreigners cant own land in thailand , you can buy the house only , and rent the land off a thai national on a long term lease ..........................................................alternate way to own house and land together is setting up a dodgy thai incorporated company to purchase it.................Just to mention foreigners can own condos 100% outright

You can but not the underlying ground so legally it is a minefield, I would steer clear personally until there are better laws protecting foreign investors.
