A couple of hints, you can use a little uv resin for eyes and. Noses before flocking and once they are flocked you can play with them without having them in a bag. 32:20 You can also coat your molds with a thin layer of petroleum jelly

I love them. 1. If you have a bowl of soapy water, they come out of the mold a lot easier. 2. Use vaseline in your mold first. 3. My grandkids play with them so much that they get sticky again. When this happens, roll in baby powder. 4. I have used acrylic paint for the eyes. 5. Store my grandkids in the bags when not using. Hope this helps.

It was so much fun watching you do that. I laughed. 😂 I saw a video yesterday of a lady that after flocking them, she used real cheap make up to put rosy cheeks on them with those little eye make up brushes. She also used UV resin to create little black dots for the eyes.

I also think you are supposed to use the lid on the box & then shake them. I also was wondering about using something like a toothpick to push up unto peanut. I saw a post from “Let’s Resin” I believe, they used normal molds and the paw but they put the molds in soapy water to get them out of the molds. It was hard to get all them out because they stick to the molds, with the soapy water it sure helped. These are cute and are meant to be played with, they showed themselves putting them in the bags with some tiny decorations. My daughter liked squishy’s when little. Love watching you Michelle. I want to see Don in another challenge.

LOL 🧡🧡🧡I think it's okay for you to do videos on something like this as you use molds to make them--so they are kinda related to resin in that respect. 🧡🧡🧡The hamsters are meant to be used for squishies; that's why they're mat molds & are made out of the extra-flexible silicone. 🧡🧡🧡I wonder if you could shove something like a popsicle stick into Peanut's bottom & push it up through his body & neck. Or maybe you could try a couple of pieces of heavy-duty wire. Perhaps something like that could make him stand up. 🧡🧡🧡Also, if you make squishies again, try putting the lid on the flocking box & then shake it like you're making Shake 'n' Bake & see how well that works to coat them. I think that's why it comes with a lid.

I made the hamster. I couldn't stop laughing! I did use Vaseline inside my molds, I wasn't sure if it would stick to the silicone , so it's good to see I don't have to do that. I unmolded mine in a bowl of water and used mica powder on the cheeks and used black tinted uv resin for the eyes. My granddaughters love this, I had to get more of the flex rubber. Great video!❤

Ha! Michelle, U had so much fun which made it fun to watch!!! I just made squishies last night and flocked them today so it was funny this vid came out today!! Now of course, I was talking to the screen! 😃 So first, if u want it to come out essier, u can Vaseline the mold lightly before pouring. But u saw, just taking ur time and peeling away slowly works and try not to rip it. U can use mica to color, as u saw. U can use alcohol to remove marker/paint as u know that now too, but if u don't like how the flocking came out, u can wash them off with warm, soapy water and they'll be back to sticky so u can redo them!! On another note, can u tell me which silicone you used to make your doggies? Cuz I have some dishes and trinkets I want to make molds from but I need those soft, squishy molds like yours!!! Thanks!! If ur curious, I used the Lets Resin mold of the 3 cats and dogs curled up that you showed on ur vid a few weeks ago! It worked great cuz I rewatched ur vid before I started and u luckily had said how much each size of cat and dog took! I recommend that you use ur remaining flex rubber on one of those cats or dogs cuz its perfect! ❤❤✌👍

I used a heat mat with all of mine. At Halloween last year I made an almost life sized anatomical heart and it was fine. So I wouldn't go TOO large but you can make them pretty big. You can use glitter to cover them as well as the flocking. When the item is squeezed you can see coloring. I actually put mica powders into mine to color them and then used a matching flocking color externally. The silicone releases bubbles really easily. I've gone through two kits and I can't remember seeing any bubbles. Yes you can mix flocking colors, or mix flocking with glitters even! (I suggest a fine glitter and not chunky) I wish they would put something in their instructions about slowly taking them out of the mold, getting that edge first like you mentioned, so you don't rip it. I had poured one into a really soft mold and I had that mold turned almost inside out before I was able to get the edge and pull it out - and it didn't rip or anything! LOL I love this stuff - so fun to play with! Easiest way to flock them is put that lid on the box and give it a few good shakes. You can play with them in the bags or outside of the bags.

You can brush on a thin coat of petroleum jelly or some silicone release spray. The that will help with demold.

My son is autistic and he has sensory issues . The one thing that helps calm him down is these types of squishy toys. Putting them back into the plastic bag is just to keep it clean, I believe. My son would definitely enjoy these for sure because he has a small box where he keeps all his other squishy toys that I purchased for him over the years. Some squishy have a scent added to them, but they can be expensive for sure. I absolutely love the hamsters, but the dogs were my sons favourite. I unfortunately have been unable to purchase this kit even though I can buy their resin, no problem because I live in Northern Ireland, which is part of the UK. Great video, as always. 🤗🥰

The lady I saw doing these coated her mold with a thin layer of vaseline before pouring. I also heard there is a mold release that dies the same thing. If you dont like the flocking, you can just wash them off with warm water.

Hope you had fun doing this video lol. I love doing them and playing with them.....I have done quite a few squishies. I have done hamsters, cat and dog molds (laying dog being my favourite). They say to lightly coat the mold with Vaseline but most of the time I don't. I have used mica powder also to colour mine silicone. You can paint the eyes etc with acrylic paint or brush with mica or eye shadow to blush up the cheeks and ears. For the flocking you can make your own using corn flour which I think is cornstarch in America. I have put a little colorant in my corn flour. If it was me I wouldn't play with it if the flocking is the stuff that is larger fibres. The flour of course is safe. Also I have only used the cheap squishy silicone because we can't get the lets resin one here and it works great

From what I have seen in other videos. You are supposed to put the squishy in the box, put on the lid and then shake the box really good to coat them. lol Watching you squish them around was much more fun though. ROFL

You can use your hamster molds. I was told to use vaseline on the mold before you pour in the flex rubber.

Cute...when flocking it's easier to tip bag of flocking into box put in squishy put lid on box and shake it covers easier that way🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
