Awesome interview! I have to touch on the pre-nup issue because as a lawyer, it is so reckless and irresponsible for Netflix not to offer this to couples. At the very least, people should be vetted financially before they apply for the show because these are people’s lives they’re gambling with. I would not want to move in with my husband and live together for the first time in an apartment that he shared with a roommate. However, the way she makes that the focus of her answer and glosses over the fact that she wasn't willing to change her life for them to live together isn't right. She flipped the script. She said she would move to London and when it was time change her life to do that she was reluctant. That's a big deal. If I move forward in a serious relationship with someone because they made me believe they were all about living together my city and then they change that up I would feel lied to. Did Steven have any real choice in agreeing to visit each other? What was his option?

Love is blind producers needs to stop reaching out to man who never applied for the show. Producers need to do their due diligence. You can’t bring people on a show without doing health check, fiancé check, mental health check, CRIMINAL CHECK. Just remember love is blind makes 100 million. I don’t see it as desperate, more like unfortunately there are more women then men who value settling down and so give this opportunity outside the dating norm a shot. Like the women are ready to have commitment and a lot of men are like “well this is the right time for it to happen, but also not pressed if it doesn’t”. And its less one side is desperate and the other isn’t, but more like there’s incongruent values entering the situation. There are plenty of unaired female contestants who said they quickly figured out there was no one there for them and left. But are glad they at least gave it a shot. I do need more women to do that tho, give it go but be willing to walk away if the quality ain’t there.

I also don’t think it’s enough to say the producers should do the vetting. You should also do your own due diligence. After all, that’s how dating in the real world happens. Sabrina should also take accountability. My biggest red flag as far as this guy is concerns is that he had an ex who got diagnosed with cancer and somehow that diagnosis broke their relationship. To top it off, he didn’t even know how she was doing. Second red flag would have been the fact that he lives in a shared house.

The biggest issues were never finances, but were how each person spent their time. Sabrina clearly spent a larger proportion of her time around Stephen than he did about her and that must hurt once you realize that you'll never get even a small fraction of their time that you are willing to give to them.

There should have been a more in-depth discussion about finances. It’s not enough to say what’s yours is mine and what’s mine is yours. She should have been wanting to know why he’s still in a shared house. She should have been looking at his business accounts which should be available on companies house. There are many questions and red flags there were overlooked by Sabrina in my opinion.

OK. Bravo ladies. Great interview. You kept a good balance between "intruding" and clarifying events. It's very interesting that *the women APPLIED while the men were CONTACTED on social media* This would certainly explain why some seemed to be coasting and going with the flow, while others were committed and devoted to finding their soulmates. I know Sabrina respectly chose not to disclose, but I wonder how her dates went with Freddie. I also think Stephen dropped the reigns too quickly. The daily check ins should have continued and prioritising each other's needs could have carried them through the early days of their marriage. It's such a shame because I think they really fell for each other. How difficult would it have been to purchase a selection of organic peppermint tea 🍵 and meet your WIFE to help her with her luggage at the train station? It's truly "the little things" that make a huge difference. I wish Sabrina a full recovery and peaceful divorce. Or, if I'm honest and because I'm a hopeless romantic, can they reconcile? if there is any way that Stephen and Sabrina can wipe the slate clean and start again with a new, informed foundation. They have all of the ingredients for what each.other really needs. Am I delusional? Yes. 😂
