Hello from Slovenia again!
With this Reversed COLANDER technique I got such a neat effect! I think this also looks like a Starburst flower!
It’s a great fluid painting for beginners!
COLOURS:
- Amsterdam oxide black
- Amsterdam greenish blue
- Amsterdam expert series permanent red violet
- Amsterdam nickel titanium yellow
- Decoart extreme sheen gold
- Pearl white
My pearl white mixture:
1 part Vallejo pearl medium

Acrylic pours does take a lot of paint and if you've never done any kind of poor buy the cheapest paint and whatever kind you do don't forget some kind of pouring medium even if its water all the acrylic paints are really thick. Also Idk how many times I've tried doing some of these and mine never look as good. My best was the chain or string pulls the painting looks like calla lilies. Best of luck

I absolutely love it. It has inspired me with ideas for my own work. I do have a suggestion though. Before all the paint has fully gone from the very top of the colander where you poured the paint, have you considered you considered using the paint from the outside of the colander to create another piece of art? I can see at least two ways. Others may see more. Remove the colander to another clean area to work to avoid ruining what you have already made. If you have a second person to help you, if you got a large plain sheet of paper or a canvas as well a cling film. Tear off some clingfilm, now take each corner & carefully place it over the paint on the colander & down the side carefully. Now lift the cling film & lightly lay of the top of your paper, canvas etc. do not press down as you will ruin the pattern & apply too much paint to the paper. You maybe able to apply to more than sheet if you do not put down too much paint on each item. Let it dry out completely & you have created paper that could be used in craft work, or to wrap gifts or put in a photo frame. The second option. If you have small items you wish to decorate like mini canvases, tiles, plain wooden boxes etc. Again, removed the colander from your canvas so you do not ruin your canvas you are currently working on. Take each of your small items & carefully apply the side of your item you wish to decorate into the paint on the colander, remembering not to press down too hard. You only want to press down enough to cover your item otherwise you will have to much paint or you will muddy the colours out of their beautiful patterns & colours & instead create grey/green/brown muddy colours. Repeat this process until you run out of beautiful patterned paint or items you wish to apply the paint to. I hope this can help inspire anyone reading this to find ways to use their excess leftovers that would normally just be disposed of. Happy crafting everyone

Mixing colors sometimes can be complicated, it will make your art look dull, but your artistry its always on point, thank you for the tutorial, an excellent learning experience, it happens to awesome artists, always try on a small canvas, specially all those color's that u mixed, I try doing your tutorials, and never been successful at it , I'm a naturalist artist, landscapes and all kinds of art,but pouring, it's just we don't hit it off ,lol zzzzz

I REALLY enjoyed watching the process of what to use, how to create as well as how to make alterations, if desired. I also had the opportunity to enjoy the end product, which I think is mesmerizingly beautiful. As I'm new to your channel, I have a few questions that maybe were answered in other videos.. so I appreciate your patience and generosity in helping me with my questions. I noticed you'd mentioned your shaking, but that it wouldn't stop you from creating art. Firstly.. kudos to you! 🙌🏼How inspirational! We need more of this in life! 💯 I realize it's personal information and completely respect your decision not to share the reason(s) why you were shaking. I suppose I'm trying to find a connection to those who also have disabilities and are determined to not allow those disabilities to prohibit them from participating in the things that bring them joy. I have tremors without a medical diagnosis (as no one at the VA is either taking me seriously or knows what to diagnose me with (very common in the VA system). I'm currently seeking out things which I can enjoy with workarounds that others in similar situations have already discovered, thus saving me time & resources by not having to go through the entire searching and modification process myself. You can privately message me to share if that's something you'd prefer. Comment here if that's what you'd prefer and I'll try to find a way to contact you to give you my info. I also noticed a few sounds in the background that I'd be happy to know more about.. I heard what sounded like a rooster 🐓 and wanted to know if what I heard was in fact a rooster. I also heard what sounded like a metronome, but it could just be a clock ⏰ that was ticking. It was likely a clock, but I'd be happy to know what it was nevertheless. I'm aware my questions might seem odd, especially if you're not also neurodiverse. My brain works differently than other people's brains, which I suppose is the simplest way to describe it. I appreciate your time as well as your perceived good nature, grace, and patience in helping me with these questions. 💯🙏🏻
