Hey, man, I promise I only mean good with this comment, I watched the whole vid, seriously no hate, but isn't that tank severely overstocked. Like, no one can swim more that 3in without bumping into another fish. Plus (and note that this doesn't come from first hand, I haven't kept many of these fishes) aren't some of this fishes a "questionable" choice for community tanks? Like, from what I heard, barbs are some pretty mean fishes that only really work in a species only tank. The sharks, same thing, heard those are real bullies. With mollies and and ottos in there, sounds like a recipe for disaster. Honestly, just wanted to hear your experience with managing aggression and stuff. Peace brother

@@diogoalfaia3238 I did mention in the video that it is slightly overstocked, I wouldn’t use the word severe, weekly water changes also but I can go 2 weeks without water change, the plant’s I’ve added help a lot. They used to be in my 125 with other central and South American cichlids but I wanted to remove them before the cichlids got large enough to eat them. But ideally yes I would prefer a 125 for them but the 75 is plenty for now. And that’s a misconception, tiger barbs make excellent community fish, just has to be the right fish. The tiger barbs really don’t nip the other fish, mostly curiosity. They chase each other more than anything and the red tail shark is very mild mannered but this can change as it matures but so far I haven’t seen any aggression and I don’t take it negative at all bro ✌🏾

@4EverAquatics thanks man, very interesting to hear. Goes to show how false (or really exaggerated) rumors spread so much that they become ingrained in the community. I've heard so many people say that Tiger barbs are the worst community fish, terrible bullies, same for the sharks. Yet you made it work, just like that. About the stock numbers, I guess we just come from to opposite ends of the spectrum xD my fav tank right now is a 20 gallon with just a few reticulated hillstream loaches. At first sight, the tank looks completely empty (minus the 100+ shrimp and the abundant snails), but that's kinda how I like it. Densely planted, I never do water changes. Glad to know you make your style work, the fish are clearly well taken care of, otherwise there would be many more deaths. Love to see all the different ways you can approach fish keeping. Thanks for your answer, really. I wish you the best man, keep doing vids :)

Way to many fish and not enough hiding places
@4EverAquatics5 күн бұрын
@@huffyhuff2417 it’s a bit crowded I agree but it’s not permanent, and if you’re going to overstock keep up with the parameters, which I do. Plus it also keeps tiger barb aggression down similar to what you’ll do with African cichlids, and I limited hiding places to give more open swim space, when the plants grow in there will be plenty of hiding places, I’ve definitely seen worse
