Fun fact: Valles Marineris, the humongous canyon on Mars, is actually named after the Mariner 9 spacecraft. It was the first ever human-made thing to orbit Mars, or any planet other than Earth, and Valles Marineris was also discovered from Mariner 9's images (previous probes had somehow managed to miss it)

6:30 Interesting fact: Mongolia is dominating the Sumo organization. 5 out 6 last Yokozunas are from Mongolia. I think that a lot of the reason mars has such extreme geological features is precisely because it's so small. It has less gravity and thus less force pulling into a tighter, more exact sphere. It's more free to be less regular than the earth.

As an Idahoan, I can explain a bit about the scarcity of power plants here. The most of Northern Idaho is comprised of heavily forested mountains (much of which is a part of the Boise National Forest). This makes large constructs like power plants difficult to build. Where you do see some power plants in the southern part of the state is mostly along the largest river in the state being the Snake River. South of that, there is a fair bit of open plains where you might find a few wind turbines as you drive through the windy valley towards Utah.

Yes, but most importantly, there's not a lot of people and factories that need electricity. And since power cables always get a little bit warm when electricity runs through them, there's a limited range how far you can transfer it before nothing comes out the other end. That's actually the biggest problem with wind power. The best places to put wind turbine are usually places far away from industrial areas.

Fun fact: finnish language, hungarian language and estonian language are related. In finland we call the "suomalais-ukrilainen" language group translates roughly to finnish-hungarian. Reason for that is apparently that people from Ural mountains thousands of years ago started wondering toward europe and founded homes around current hungary, estonia and finland. (This is at least what they teach us in Finland...)
