This temple is situated in Pakistani Punjab village name Bara Pind Tehsil Zafarwal and district Narowal. Majority of Rich Hindu families used to live here before Partition 1947. This village was part of Tehsil Shakergarh and District Gurdaspur before Partition 1947. Bara Pind was like a town before Partition. Hindu khatri, Mahajan, Goldsmith, Brahman & Rajpoot were very rich and had big houses which can be seen in present days too. It's a temple with indo-saracenic style of architecture.the idol pointed with arrow is that of lord Ganesha. The temple basic structure is intact. Burnt bricks are in good condition.The plaster made of treated lime stone which generally give shine is badly damaged.Below line plaster is mudstone known as RAJA SHAHI BHAATAA as it was used in construction of crown tombs of the then palaces in Rajasthan. The gallery is around is used to give parikrma around the deity of the temple.plaster was mix of Treated lime stone, coconut,shell found in river beds and plaster was tappered and rubbed to make it shine. This plaster was base for wall painting of natural/stone colour s which has been damaged due to many factors. Triangular top is usually hollow and source of energy and is desigened scientifically.its very helpful in meditation.the iron rings are of high steel quality and used to hang wind curtains,shades etc. This is to my best of knowledge. Readers may have their different opinions so please excuse. Better maintain it in good shape,it's a historical monument from time , history, religion and architecture and so many other aspects.
