Say what ya will, but I love my old 62Harley Pan. I purchased the bike from a police auction in 1965. It was a cop bike for the San Francisco P.D.. well maintained when I got it. Just after my purchase I got drafted and after basic, off to Viet Nam. Got out in 69, dusted off my old pan and took off for a year on the bike. Great bike, never left me walking. Plus I can fix it. Still got the pan. Restored it about 20 years back. When I leave this world I’m taking it with me. Still ride and love the freedom and peace. Wouldn’t buy the new stuff. Way to many issues

I've been owned by my 49 Pan for over 40 years. I knew every person it owned before me. I call it my Pterodactyl. It has been totalled out twice and I have brought it back to life every time. Love your collection, Panheads forever!

Taking off while turning left can be tricky! 69 yrs old and still kickstarting my 49Fl. I weigh about 140 lbs and sometimes it takes me a couple extra kicks. Good for you!

I'd love to have a bike like that. I'd ride it and take care of it because it is so special. One can dream. You are so fortunate to have such a wonderful bike. Thanks for sharing.
