Hello - those valves do not normally make any beeping sound, except when programming or pressing the buttons as far as we know. Can you please email our support team with order details and we can look up and see if its under warranty and help you further. [e-mail]

Hello - its not possible to reset an E1 error that we know of without rebuilding the control valve. This is usually caused by something caught in the ceramic disc and preventing it from moving. If you purchased the control valve from us, please email [e-mail] with your order number and we can help if its under warranty or offer a trade in on a new control valve at discount.
