Nice straightforward review. I have a 2024 fully loaded SV 4x4 long bed. 2024 Pro 4X only came with a 5 foot bed. Show stopper for me. The truck has a great ride with a quiet interior. Very nice. The engine and drivetrain are effortless and silky smooth. Currently have 13.5K on the clock and couldn't be happier with the truck. Solid build quality with no squeaks or rattles. Rear seat leg room and comfort are adequate for a mid-size truck. Move the front seats up a couple of 2 or 3 inches and everyone is happy. No complaints from my rear seat passengers. Mine gets great highway gas mileage. About 30mpg. That was a nice surprise. My previous truck was a 2012 Frontier. That truck was utilitarian compared to the new generation Frontier but was bulletproof for 160K miles. I had the big Chevy's before but no longer needed a full size truck, so I went with the Frontiers and they've been great trucks.

Great review, Buddy! I really appreciate the indepth look at the suspension. I lease a 2023 S and while the truck wass a good truck, the build quality was absolutely horrible, But it was also built during covid. Never had any mechanical issues with, just major issues with the paint and very questionable welds and horrible panels gaps. But it rode extremely well and did everything that I asked of it. My absolute number one bitch was because of those stupid handles on the front of the center console. They hit my right knee at the perfect spot that just drives me nuts and makes for an uncomfortable drive for me.

I was looking for a SUV with good 4x4 options with NA V6 and good auto transmission. None out there. I just needed solid comfortable 4x4 ride with rear locker in case I needed due to weather. The only option was Jeep but its focused more for off roading than overall comfort. I also looked at the Broncos but the quality, choice of engine, and various issues was a deal breaker for me. Toyota?… out of question. Won’t even bother talk about it. I got the 24 frontier. Its like an SUV and the 5’ bed is perfect for anything cargo. The 6’ bed would be too long for me. With 5’ bed the truck fills the niche of SUV with nice cargo area. About that heavier steering? I love it. You appreciate hydraulic steering on hwy. the steering is solid unlike the electronic steering when you barely touch the wheel and car/truck start wiggling side to side. The 24 frontier was the only choice for me. No regrets.

Manufacturers should wait a few more years before they do a major design change . I only hope Nissan keeps the looks and drive train of this truck and change what the buyers are saying the issue it may have , from what I've seen on reviews are not many to make this a perfect midsized truck . For me, it's reliability period number one thing over everything else . I'm going to take a look at this truck now after many reviews I've seen here on YT that I would not have before... I did not look at the Titan, [had an f150 before the frontier} but I know people that have them, and they do not get very good gas mileage but are dependable [ this is last year of titan]. The inside of the frontier feels bigger than it is, no regrets so far on truck. The biggest selling point for me is the non-turbo V6 and the price for what you get. It's definitely old school which I like, with just enough tech and safety features that I wanted with the ability to turn off the tech that I did not want or use. The ride is great even with lift kit, I see no difference in ride from stock other than it feels more solid. I do use my truck in the woods on my hunting lease here in Florida, so I know what it will do and what I won't do with it, but so far from sugar sand roads to thick mud it has handled it all.

I had a 2016 Silverado z71 off road 5.3 v8 that I got brand new in October 2016, had transmission issues with it practically from day 1, after almost 6 years and countless trips to the dealership getting the transmission serviced, including rebuilt twice, I traded it for a 2022 colorado, v6, it's not 4x4, but, tow package with 7000 lbs towing capacity, no cylinder deactivation bullshit or start stop bullshit, I'm liking it a lot, plenty of power, excellent gas mileage,

I almost ordered a new Colorado ZR2 but it's never a good idea to order a first year truck, with that being said they were having several problems when they first came out but I ultimately went with the Frontier. That v6 motor is hard to beat and its been around for a while now with no issues

@PlayingPossumOutdoors-f9f the zr2 doesn't have enough towing for us, I had a frontier years ago, '95, 5 speed manual, I loved that little truck
