I’ve been putting off shoulder surgery for a couple of years now. I struggle with pain, sometimes excruciating pain everyday. Some nights are miserable too. I’ve learned what I can and can’t do. Cat scan shows a tear and surgeon said they can repair easily. I had just been through surgery and rehab for a fractured wrist so wasn’t eager to go through it again. I don’t take prescription pain killers. I’m in my 60s, still work and build things around the farm. I know my limits with the shoulder but will probably get it fixed at some point. The rehab 3 days a week is something I’m not too interested in though. I wish you the best and hopefully it doesn’t throw a kink in your farming plans.

G'day, Wes! Enjoyed the video! By the way... I am very sorry to hear, about your right shoulder hurting you! (hope you don't mind) Sharing some tips for helping shoulder pain get better: Put ice on the shoulder area for 15 minutes, you can do this 3 to 4 times a day for 2 to 3 days. Wrap the ice in cloth. Please very kindly, (remember) do not put ice directly on your skin. Suggestion... Rest your shoulder for the next few days. Then, slowly return to your regular activities. (or) Taking ibuprofen or acetaminophen (such as Tylenol) can help reduce inflammation and pain. Take care of yourself! Happy farming! Thank you very much! Cheers! 😊🚜✌🏻❤️

Normally is prescribed for migraines and severe menstrual cramps and is over the counter here don't know stateside.

Arnica cream or gel, for that shoulder pain. Also, Arnica sublingual mini-tabs. Not expensive, and very helpful. I'm with you on avoiding the medical providers, whenever possible. Wes nothing hurts like a rotator cuff tear. A couple tylenols wont help it. Orthopedic dr. Told me he had seen little ol ladies with hem torn that had never lifted or used anything heavier than a spatula. Im 66 and ive been fighting this damned thing for years. Ive had 4 shots in my shoulder, taken so much pain medicine that it hardly touches the pain any more. Thankfully I'm not addicted to them, ive not taken any tonight. But if you look at the time I'm posting this, about 4:00 am its why I'm still awake. Damned shoulder wont let me sleep. I've done a good bit of therapy for my shoulder but I'm not sure if the therapy helped my pain or the painpills. It doesnt take much of a tear to hurt like a roscoe. Mine is between a half and three quarters of an inch long. Its right up there with a kidney stone except a kidney stone will ease off sometimes this sob is relentless. Lucky I'm retired. I really feel for ya you're a hard working man and this crap will flat ass slow you down if its. RC injury. Might not be but it sure sounds like it. Sorry for the long post but it seems like you finally got into something I know a little about

Aspens not going to be strong enough ibuprofen might be alright anti-inflammatory or you could take paracetamol with co-codamol but don't take it long term. Try heat a damp towel put it in the microwave and then in a plastic bag but make sure it's not too hot could burn you! should relieve the inflammation and pain Reheat the bag and try this for an hour with pressure you could try your wife's massager that could help as well

True but only way I could kill the pain when I fell off a dock dislocated my shoulder in Mesa AZ . I drove to east of Dallas TX where my wife met me and took me to a hospital to get checked out. I am not paying for no ambulance ride and leaving my truck trailer and load sit somewhere I don't know. So gotta do what you gotta do. It mite have been every 6 hour on the pills but doctor said at hospital I was ok with that just don't make it a habit. He gave me 1000 mega gram ibuprofen. Can't take anything that glows on piss tests. So limited what I can take
