May I ask a polite question? I am a cyclist in Japan. It is against the law to ride 2 wide on a road because you block cars as nd can cause accidents. Are there some special las in Singapore ?

hi, in singapore you may ride side by side at road with 2 lanes and above. it’s allowed by traffic law. But do your own judgement, better don’t ride side by side on road if you are riding in slow speed on heavy traffic.

Sam - The law Chapter 276, Section 140, Road Traffic (Bicycles) Rules, also states “every bicycle shall be ridden close to the left hand edge of the roadway and in such a manner as not to obstruct vehicles moving at a faster speed”. When there is a cycling lane in sentosa but u dont use it..any idea why?

we do follow most of the time, but quite often we do over taking slower bike and avoid some obstacle, then we take outside the bicycle lane.
