76 Corvette RestoMod Pt 302 Carpeting the storage compartment doors

This project is now officially a 1976 Corvette RestoMod. Parts 1-49 were called a Refresh. I most likely will be doing upgrades to the engine, steering, suspension, transmission, cooling system and air conditioning. Other upgrades may be considered as the project moves along.

Great job. What you needed to do was just heat up a coat hanger or awl and it would have opened up that carpet hole you were seeking. Heat would have melted away the carpet and made any side hole you needed. 35 minutes in. Ex carpet layer so we used heat to make cuts as well as holes. But question is are you doing a two time interior? Black carpet with red interior trim?
