I am still pinching myself - is this really happening? Yes it is and thanks for recording her first public trains. She never looked like this when I saw her at Lower Darwen in the early 1960s. I'm proud to be associated with this project.

She does look beautiful though and it will be worth the wait to see her working on the mainline. Hopefully over routes like the S&C, Cumbrian Coast, West Lancashire line from Southport and maybe even the Cambrian Coast.

It has always been an aspiration of 76084 Locomotive Company Limited to run 76084 on the mainline. At present the Company has not got the financial resources or the management skills to fulfill this ambition indeed there are still bills coming in for her completion. Mainline technologies would cost around £60k+. We are committed to running on the NNR until the end of 2014. Who knows what the future might hold?
