Very enjoyable as usual, Peter with some nice cutting and changes of pace. You are very good at capturing the atmosphere and spirit of the event. I was delighted to meet you again, though I hope you weren't put off by some of our raucous company! It was a long journey home after the 5:46 was terminated, and I still feel a bit miffed about it now ... and that signalman!

Thank you Mike; it was really great meeting you again, Graham and Gordon too! Not at all put off raucousness: just a matter of dialing into the humor and Mark’s rapid fire chatter :o) After such a disappointing end to Friday Mike, I can understand why you’re still feeling miffed! I genuinely felt for you all; unhappily facing a along that journey home. Minor frustrations continued on Saturday for me but improved significantly as the weekend progressed! btw I met Clive H on Saturday!
