Chase & Chip, do you guys think we should sign JT Thor. He's a pretty solid 4 with a high ceiling. His athleticism is off the charts which makes him hard to stop when he's driving while also making him a "solid rebounder & defender." His 3pt shot is VERY decent he shot like 36% from 3 last year & 33-35% from 3 career% the only downside is he shot 55% from the stripe last year (ft%) I think he'd be the perfect plug & play guy until we can get a Dorian Finney-Smith trade finalized.

DFS is super underrated. Guards any position 1-5, played center for BK while Nic Claxton was out, and he was an absolute sniper from three shooting well over 40% before he injured his ankle

True. But JT Thor is kj Martin with a 3pt shot, more athleticism, more length (no diddy), more defensive minded (commits WAY less fouls & has better defensive IQ),& he has WAY better handles. His only downside is he shot 55% from the stripe (ft%).

The KJ for DFS idea is one of the dumbest things I’ve heard. Just sign KJ at $3mm and play him.

Because the Sixers are over the cap, signing KJ to a bigger contract gives them access to a higher value cap slot. You get a better player & a more tradeable commodity. Otherwise… we have no other avenues to improve this team except for vet min deals.

The sixers do have a rebounding problem in the starting line up. I would put Adem Bona at power forward and ask him to rebound play D and run the floor catch lobs for dunks, he has a nice little jumper. The sixers don't think out of the box like that. Plus, the sixers have a mental issue with young players.
