Eric Gordon signs a 1-year, $3.3 million veteran minimum contract with the Philadelphia 76ers during NBA free agency. The former Suns G Eric Gordon reunites with Sixers president Daryl Morey and adds to the 76ers’ duo of Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey. Incomplete. Both moves are good so far. Using draft pick on a development player I am okay with. Gordon Vet min. Drummond they were willing to give up capital to grab (and would have been huge against NY) but Chicago wouldn't budge. Now got him cheap cost. I love the signing.

They have to get a Legit 4. I would toy around with Drummond at the four with the rookie backing up Joel. Gordon and Paul George are past their prime. Don't quit on Oubre' that kid is a baller. Morey needs to work on a deal to move Reed for a power forward. This team needs athletic wings that can clean the glass and they have to be careful not to break down Joel. So far, I'm happy about Drummond coming back. Even still, if Dre is going to backup Embiid, they gotta get a Four. Morey gotta get a Fourey

Dumping on Tobias is mid, that Raptors series was it, Butler, Tobias(before contract was 21 &7 on the Clippers) JJ and All Defense Ben Simmons, Embiid had it all, stomach this and crying that.. the key is Embiid, if he's healthy Sixers are unstoppable, he gotta man up, and i like bul. we don't care about pieces Embiid is IT.... PERIOD.

Philly is the most top heavy team in the NBA, but they still need a couple decent sized 3&D players to contend with a healthy Celtics team. If they get the right pieces Embiid is going to show the world that the planets still revolve around the sun/that centers are still as relivent as ever.... CAN THEY BEAT THE CELTICS IF THEY GET THESE PIECES?! Right now the Celtics can have one or two bad 3-point shooting nights against every team in the NBA playoffs, but the Bucks and they will still win. They won't be afforded that if Philly gets just a couple of the right support players. The reason I say that is because they don't do something that the greatest teams always do - ADJUST - when they get in a bind they want to out 3-point a team and on the nights they aren't dropping the keep jacking them up, when other all time great teams always adjust and find another way to get the W. I've been watching the Celtics all my life, and as far as this team goes that has been their biggest achilles heel, and even last year I saw it to a degree, but they now have so many shooters and had such a great defense it didn't matter. BUT IF PHILLY GETS A COUPLE 3&D PLAYERS THE CELTICS WILL LOOSE IF THEY CAN'T ADJUST WHEN THE 3's AREN'T FALLING... Having alternative plays built in for this and playing for these occasions in the regular season may be a good thing because PHILLY IS GOING 2 BE A PROBLEM. If they are balling and both teams are healthy it will go at least 6 but most likely 7 games and from there its up to every player to decide who they will go down in history as - a victor or the fallen
