what I love about old records is, it's like I'm time traveling, to a time of long forgot, wish that was possible!

Oh well, it was worth a look. I have bought some boxes like that, but I'm looking for 1930s and earlier so if it looks later I tend to leave it nowadays. I do sometimes buy the record just for the sleeve though. Thanks 👍😀

Yeah you lose more than you win lol. I just picked up 600 total in the past 2 days from 2 different sellers and have around 125 keepers. But at least I didnt pay a lot for either!

@@ThePhonographStop That's good. I think one of the problems is what to do with the ones you don't want. Can be hard even to give away ... 😕

At least you got an Ink Spots 78. Every time I see an MGM label my brain says Hank Williams! But it’s usually Joni James. 😔

Definitely that 1946-1953 era I don’t care much for…No good Bop or R&B or Country of the era. at least you got a couple decent ones..and thankfully no Ken Griffin organ solos! And you got a case for your good stuff!

Well, at least you have some nice listening. BTW - Gracie Fields was a British Music Hall comedienne who made a lot of great records. "Now is the Hour " is a traditional Maori farewell song that became very important to the UK during WWII. Also, if I may, OKeh is pronounced, "Oh - Kay." Hope you've been enjoying the music these past couple of years (and not playing those records on the machines in the video.)

Those were packed in too tight. A lot of the sleeves were damaged. Too bad the sleeves don't always match the record label.
